Spring Poetry Reading & Harp
Stephanie Liney graduated from DartingtonCollege of Arts with a BA (Hons) in Music Performance. She studied bothharpsichord and cello, focusing on early music. She currently studies singingwith Jane Gregson andenjoys singing with the harp and in local church choirs. While at schoolStephanie sang with the HighcliffeJunior Choir .
Stephanie has performed at a diverse range of locations throughout Dorset andHampshire, including a solo harp recital as part of the first ChristchurchPriory Music Festival, a medieval duo (harp and voice) as part of the Agincourtcelebrations in the Great Hall, Winchester and The Observatory at the Sea Wallin Lymington.
Stephanie plays a wide range of genres on the harp including the traditionalharp repertoire from Wales, Scotland and Ireland; as well as early music andmodern compositions for the harp. Her book and CD of compositions entitled “Tothe Mackerel” were influenced by the Dorset coastline
